About Me
My Background
I grew up doodling and creating in South Strafford Vermont. I studied art at UMass, Amherst and soon after college I got married and started a family. Three children later I am living in Southern California and diving back into art like I never stopped. I'm so excited to be creating again!! I pour my heart into every piece partly because I have been waiting so long to make art again! This journey in portraiture all began when I made a few dog portraits for loved ones as a gift. I am captivated by the process and love to watch the painting come alive on the paper. I would be thrilled to create such a portrait for you!

I am inspired by the world around me, the connections we all make, and the journey we are all on. We all have people, pets and places that have left a mark on our hearts. I aim to capture a beautiful portrait of these beloved beings as a keepsake to cherish forever.
